Never forget that everything Hitler did in Germany was legal.

Sometimes it’s the smallest decisions that can change your life forever.
Not everything that is faced can be changed, but nothing can be changed until it is faced.
Change your heart /
It will astound you /
Certain things they should stay the way they are. You ought to be able to stick them in one of those big glass cases and just leave them alone
Know what’s weird? Day by day nothing seems to change but pretty soon, everything is different. You just go about your business and one day you realize you’re not the same person you used to be. People change whether they decide to or not.
With machines the feeling is, well, more finite. It doesn’t go any further. With humans it’s different. The feeling is always changing. Like if you love somebody, the love is always shifting or wavering. It’s always questioning or inflating or disappearing or denying or hurting. And the thing is, you can’t do anything about it, you can’t control it.
The only man I know who behaves sensibly is my tailor; he takes my measurements anew each time he sees me. The rest go on with their old measurements and expect me to fit them.
You see life is like that. We change, that’s all. You see, the guy I am now is not the guy I was then. If the guy I was then met the guy I am now he’d beat the shit out of me. Those are the facts.

Right now I want a word that describes the feeling that you get—a cold sick feeling, deep down inside—when you know something is happening that will change you, and you don’t want it to, but you can’t stop it. And you know, for the first time, for the very first time, that there will now be a before and an after, a was and a will be. And that you will never again quite be the same person you were.
Sometimes you don’t even know anything’s changed. You think you’re still you and your life is still your life, but you wake up one day and look around, and you don’t recognize anything not anything at all.
We can’t become what we need to be by remaining what we are.
Most people are afraid of change. But if you look at it as something you can always count on, then it can be a comfort.
Would you change anything? Like who you are with or what you do or what kind of person you are, because if you would: Do It Now! This is it, this is all we have: Right here, right now.
